Camp Alpha - wide sweep recce

A 2 hour sweep around Camp Alpha checking out the local area, in the snow.

R2 & I walked to Camp Alpha to identify suitable spots to pitch a tent. Lot's of great hammock spots, but not many tent spots (uneven ground, possible boggy areas etc). However, there was one or two spots that looked liked they'd be good to pitch a small tent.

I'm looking forward to doing my first overnighter at Camp Alpha at some point.

yes if there's a few of you then a tent would be better but you should experience hammock camping at some point, I promise you won't look back
