What the DA was asking is just too much for the ANC to stomach. It is going to be a very messy couple of years.

The biggest story here, is that ActionSA has betrayed their voters: the electorate in South Africa needs to be a bit more astute than it currently is.

Sjoe! Cyril forgets how he got his position.

Ramaphosa is the president of the ANC and that is all he ever will be. If he was a South African president, he would have called the Executive together immediately after the establishment of the GNU and instructed them to formulate a vision of what S.A should look like after x number of years. This vision should then be supported by a broad mission and detailed quantified plans to achieve the set objectives. This vision, together with objectives and targets should then have been published and propagated so that every citizen, as well as all trading partners, were aware of the contents. Cyril, as usual, only focuses on the ANC. This is the result of not divorcing the national president from all political parties. The current situation is also a result of indulging political parties. This system is not doing S.A. any good.

"Ramaphosa thinks the DA has made a big mistake" - I do not think so Mr President Ramaphosa, vote of no confidence could happen and your political career could end.

He thinks the DA is there for the money and the prestige. because that is what the ANC thinks government is all about - how much you can grab for yourself

Civil war in South Africa ?
Concerns you're raising are valid and shared by many. The signing of the Land Expropriation Act in South Africa has sparked intense debate and worries about the potential consequences.

Potential Risks and Concerns
1. *Economic instability*: Expropriation of land without compensation could lead to economic instability, as seen in Zimbabwe.
2. *Food security*: South Africa is a significant food producer in the region. Any disruption to agricultural production could have far-reaching consequences for food security.
3. *Social unrest*: The land issue is highly emotive, and any perceived injustices could lead to social unrest, protests, and potentially even violence.
4. *Investor confidence*: The signing of the Act will deter investors, both domestic and foreign, which will have negative impacts on the economy.
5. *Civil war*: As you mentioned, some people fear that the situation could escalate into civil war, although this is a worst-case scenario.ai
