100 Kickflips In The Emerica Romero Laced Shoes

We decided to give our staff a break this week and hand the 100 Kickflip Challenge over to a pro. Leo Romero paid a visit to the CCS office last week and we talked him in to giving us 100 kickflips in a brand new pair of his Romero Laced Shoes from Emerica. It turns out there’s a reason he’s got his name on a board. Leo did 100 kickflips in a row with out stopping or stepping off his board once. He didn’t want to break his momentum until he hit 100 and because of that, we had a microphone malfunction in the process. As you can clearly see, the shoes did great, but sadly we don’t have audio commentary on the end result. We speculated as to what was said though, and probably nailed it. Its really amazing to me, how pros do their kickflips. Looks like a fucking machine. His flick foot does the same motion, every try. That muscle memory is real.

I can honestly say that these are the best shoes I have ever skated. They last a super long time and perform really well. Although, the best part is probably how inexpensive they are for how great they are.

I tried these IRL and they feel amazing. Noticeable cushioning and a lot of board feel compared to Vans. I’m going to stick to emerica now! :)

skated mine for like 3 months, the kickflip mark is almost touching the floor. the soles also wore all the way through on my front foot, but the board feel is amazing! currently skating the hsu's and they seem to hold up way better

Wow just crazy! I just bought a pair yesterday for like 20 bucks!Cause i casually stopped by zumies and saw them on clearance..as sooon as i layed my eyes on them i said “these look like straight 🔥fire!” But thought they felt a bit flimsy! And yet the feedback im now seeing on them is great! Cant wait to give these a try and hopefully buy more!
