The smile and chuckle when he heard coffee and burger. And the way he said you're probably saving his life cause how cold he was really shows you this man 100 percent appreciates this. He will remember that meal and gift for his entire life I imagine.

If a houseless person ever tries to pay you back in some way, just tell them the only way to pay you back is to take good care of themselves. It's truly the simplest form of hope and motivation. I hope this man is doing well and he'll be able to get back on his feet soon!

As a male caregiver, it's good to see adult men with compassion for those who can't take care of themselves. If you have a coupon for a buy one get one free burger, give the second burger to the guy hanging out in front of the store.

Made me cry. No one should have to go hungry, or be unsafe, living under a bypass. I have thought about people in this situation many times this winter. So….my son and I bought Christmas dinners for as many people as we could. It was incredibly rewarding.
