Notice there is no victimhood in her message & mindset. If you keep working hard, believe in yourself, stay positive & continually improve yourself, you will overcome life’s difficulties. Key is to focus on what you can control (improving yourself) & not what you can’t control (trying to change others).

I agree with a lot of what she said. However, a single person cannot do “acheive anything they want in life” sometimes (as she mentions about hardships) you will have to make hardship decision because you might not be able to be a WNBA player (statistically extremely difficult) you can try but if you don’t have the skills, you won’t make it. So I would rephrase the statement by saying “you can try anything in life” does not mean you will succeed. Of course I don’t expect this level of wisdom from a 22 year old but CC is great and has a good mindset and that is a powerful role model example.
