For us everything we do we do it to show the world how rich we are. From our marriages, school admissions, university admissions to rejecting tata nano because it was marketed as the cheapest car we do everything to just show a false image and apple knew how to capitalise on this.

This less than 10% population earning less than 25 thousand is the joke of the century. Ask your maid, she is earning more than that, a delivery person earning more than that. Whoever is making video based on this data needs to fact check first

There is a saying in marketing " Make the want a necessity for the customer". Phone is necessary but Iphone is a want. If we people learn to differentiate between the necessary and want, our savings will increase...

TO be fair, you can get all sorts of iPhones on sale. I rarely see pro models out in the wild. Yes they exist, but not that often. Its usually the base model, non pro versions. Heck, its even a model from a year ago, or 2 years back.


And since iPhones tend to retain the same look, it's a little difficult to differentiate between older and newer ones from a distance. You can get iPhones for as low as 20k-30k.

Some thing i like about iPhones is that. Compared to recently releasing phones they last the the longest without major slow down for 5-6 years except the battery
Old one plus used to be long lasting currently not. Then we have qc issues in most brands

I live with my brother and his friend they both are orthopaedic surgeon but still my brothers friend use this old 10k readme phone he bought 5 year ago, but on other hand i have seen young people working in kirana store, and even auto driver with iPhone, may be they are buying used cheap i phone but still it shows how luxury is to keep these people poor
