KoRn has an exciting new record currently in the works and guitarist Brian 'Head' Welch has some very exciting things to say that fans are going to love. KoRn will also embark on a North American tour later this year.

I'd appreciate it if you took a moment to follow :)

The serenity of suffering is their most underrated album, so good from start to finish

Can't wait for the new stuff. Very few bands can put out new music 20-30 years into their career and it actually be good but Korn has done it again and again. They don't miss.

Knowing that Korn is working on new songs is something amazing, and having Jonathan come to the studio every day is something unique. Really looking forward to new songs, new album, always looking forward to more Korn!

Thanks for making me feel old! 9 years old?! Saw Korn when they opened up at the Newport Music Hall, Columbus, Ohio, 1995, for Danzig. The other opening act was another unheard of band, Marilyn Manson. Korn went first, then Manson, then Danzig.

The dubstep album is called 'The path of totality' but regardless the album is bomb, and i still remember listening to it and being amazed on a bus ride home.

Stoooked! I'm gonna be 40 this year and I have loved koRn since I was 14. If Brian is saying it is OG-heavy, I bet it is. Love that dude. He's just a great dude all around. 😎👊

They ALWAYS say that. Go back to any PR for the next album and you'll always find the phrase "heavier, more groove oriented"

"Take a look in the mirror" was made without a label, produced by themselves, and is one of my favorite albums of all time, so hearing that the new album it is being recorded in similar conditions makes me really happy

I feel like what made Korns old sound so heavy was the fact they were probably playing on much thinner strings back then. There weren't the crazy thick 7 string sets we have now and it gave the guitars this super bouncy and almost "flubby" feel. I remember Brain said in an interview a few years ago he was playing a baritone 7 string which definitely has more low end, but it doesnt have that same old school sound. Also they didnt use Evertune bridges back then to keep the intonation in check. It was just pure raw unchecked downtuned goodness. I dont know what their recording process is now, but in the 90s/2000s all their stuff was fully recorded on tape which has a totally different sound than any modern recording gear.
