You can also use this lazy teriyaki sauce that my husband and I love! 3 tbsp kikkoman original soy sauce, 3 tbsp sweet rice mirin, 1 tbsp of honey, a lil bit of water, some crushed black pepper, and pinch of salt. I would do the same thing as she does but add 1-2 tbsp corn starch to thicken the sauce. Yum!

I wouldn't marinate the salmon. The sugar burns too quickly.

I agree with everything here except the char. It's salmon. To me it's a sweet soft fleshy baby of a fish. I don't ever want to burn it, it's too lovely for that 🐟

It's burned .... You should put the sauce at the end of cooking, because it's contain sugar/honey.

They will burn before the fish
