I first heard Elvis voice when I was 7. Played an Elvis 33 LP on my aunty's record player. I instantly became mesmerised by Elvis voice even though I did not even know what he looked like.
Love this song and other gospel voices on 33 LP my aunty later gave me. It was one of the originals. Front cover had Elvis in a suit and a chapel in the background. He sang those songs so beautifully, like an amgel.
Elliott's version is very well done.
