Sweet yet tangy PICKLED MANGO is a delicious treat that’ll be sure to make your mouth water and have you coming back for more. Summer time in Hawai’i brings an abundance of delicious mango, perfect for pickled mango. The juicy, sweet, orange goodness is irresistible. Is your mouth watering yet? If it is then you should totally make this.

Pickled Mango Recipe
Ingredients:
1 cup water

Directions:
Set a non-reactive pot over high heat and add water, rice vinegar, apple cider vinegar, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil and stir until sugar and salt has dissolved.
Remove from heat and allow to cool.
While your pickling mixture is cooling begin prepping the mangoes.
Peel mangoes and cut into slices. Place slices in a glass jar.
Add li hing mui seeds to each jar
Pour cooled pickling liquid to each jar to fill it about 3/4s full. Place in the refrigerator to chill overnight. ENJOY!

This is so delicious, added li hing mui inside. Saved the juice and added in a glass of wine, Arbor Mist wine, OMG! My go to wine.

Thank for sharing your recipe, I am currently craving this since I had it the last time we want to Hawaii. I had spicy pickled mango that I bought from someone selling it out her car and it was delicious. How can I make mine spicy? Not sure what type of chili I should use.

😃 Relle! Aloha! Please show us how to make old school li hing powder! If you already did please tell me where to find the vid. I cannot stand the chemical, artificial sweetener flavor of today’s powder. Why do they try to fix what isn’t broken lol. I just want some delicious, OG li hing mui powder to put on my pineapple, make pickle mango with and hurricane li hing popcorn in Texas! Is that too much to ask lol.
