When the cat first arrived at Steere House, a nursing home and rehabilitation center, it took a while for Oscar to come out of his shell.

However, as time went on, Oscar started to grow closer to particular patients. Soon enough, doctors and nurses at Steere House realized that Oscar had what some have described as “supernatural powers!” Even today, doctors from around the world have a hard time explaining Oscar the Cat’s extraordinary, predictive powers…

Oscar looks like a Calico? Sweet kitty-cats! It doesn’t surprise me he can detect death. Canines can detect low-blood sugar, seizures, loneliness (my dog did that for my poor, beat down father-in-law), she jumped-up in his chair and gave him a “kiss.”
It’s awesome Oscar gives families time to say goodbye….not being there for a parent’s/grandparent’s death, or at least hug them one last time is precious and priceless! Kudos to Oscar!💕

My beautiful pup does that too! She loved on my sister before her death. She confort my Sis and never left her side while we're taking care of her. She was quite concerned and loving. Animals are smart creatures. I refuse to exploit them.
