such an inspiration. I have a minkota 55 with a deep cycle battery that I use for my boat. I'll bring it along with an explorer 200 just for the fun.

i was actually trying to see if someone ever try putting a hobby grade big brushless motor on a raft. i bet it could work. you see all these electric scooters, and skateboard doing 20mph or so. why not have a surf board or a canoe with that technology.

How did you mount the motor onto the boat? I have the Intex explorer pro 400 and I'd love to put a motor on it but that model doesn't have the holder for the motor mount

What kind if battery did you use for this? My minn kota battery is a marine battery, which works awesome but is 60 lbs.
