How to Enable EQUATION EDITOR in Word

Do you want to use Microsoft Word's built-in Math Equation Editor? It should be enabled by default, but there are cases where you may not see it. If you don't see it in your Insert tab, then follow the steps in this video to enable the Equation Editor option in Word.

None of this works for me. I receive a message "Commands need to be attached to custom groups. To create a group, pick a tab in this list. Then click new group". I did this, but "Equation" is still disabled,
