UBL commissions 14 billion water recovery plant

A 14 billion shillings (2.8M Pounds) Water recovery plant has been constructed by Uganda breweries limited with officials saying this will see the beer plant cut it’s water usage by up to 50 percent down from 4.9 litres per litter to make a beer to 2.7 litres per litre to make a beer. Uganda breweries MD Alvin Mbugua says the modern water recovery plant is part of the beer makers strategy to ensure environmental protection given the vagaries of climate change. #NTVNews
