My Lady (Lunar Serenade) - FINAL FANTASY XVI ~ Piano cover

Yesterday I tried the FFXVI demo and loved it so much!! Can't wait to play the full game ;; Also excited to listen to the whold OST, so far it's sounding amazing hehe~ I've recorded 2 relaxing tracks from the demo, this one sounds during the scene where Jill and Clive have a conversation at night and Jill prays to the star Mitia~ There are no official titles for the pieces yet (I was just going to name it "Jill Praying to Mitia", but @Barnabas_ came out with the beautiful name "Lunar Serenade" for this one so I temporarily borrowed it hehe!

It has some tricky passages where notes are repeated and melodies get intertwined, I tried to keep all notes but a few changes were made to make it playable c:

This is probably composed by Soken, but we don't have the official info yet and he'll be collaborating with several composers so I'm not sure yet!

This song is so good in its original moment. Clive is telling her that he's going to war, and Jill sheds a single tear and asks if he'll be alright, and he's just unable to says how he feels. It's the reason these songs from all these games have such impact. In the moment, they perfectly match the tone of what we're seeing.

Everybody wants Clive to comfort her, because he knows, but he just can't, because he's been raised to be stoic.

Man dude, the Endwalker vibes are extremely strong in this one. So glad that Soken wrote both 16 and the last 3 expansions of 14 at the same time and cant wait to hear Dawntrail. Some of the best music on planet earth. "And Melancholy Marked Him" is probably one of saddest things in existence.
