Between 2 Lungs. BN Regional Finals.

Well, it was one of those days to be honest!

Enigma isn't a push-button ride and i didn't ride her to the fences as well as i could of done, which resulted in some poles down and a couple of silly stops.

The first class would have been right up her street (1m warm up, one round against the clock) however, we were so busy looking at the spooky blue bubbles on a later fence as we turned to jump no.1 that it resulted in a refusal! She nipped round that course afterwards in a clear, fast time aswell!

BN 2nd rounds weren't great either and we ended up with 12faults, for 2 poles and a stop (which was totally my fault, i did a "special" turn to the fence).

However, i just put it down to "one of those days" and in fairness to Little Hoss, she is jumping so nicely at the moment. She'll always be a spooky horse, but that element of her character makes her careful most of the time in the air, so it's up to me to set her up and really ride her... i can't get complacent and just sit there! So not all is lost, i still have another shot at 2nd rounds on the 3rd july and i will get some more practise in beforehand!

Ho hum, some you win, some you lose, that's show jumping innit! We still had a nice time anyway!

@emniz I love the jacket baba! It fits beautifully! I'm not too worried about the run outs, that's her way of going sometimes, plus me riding like a feckin eedjit didn't help, haha! I was hoping to get through to the next rounds to give those bigger jumpies a go, but it wasn't meant to be! Thanks for the comment hun!

@zara6661 Ahhh, those dreaded blue bubbles, they caught alot of people out! It was that jump we were so busy oogling as we turned to fence 1 in the warm up class that gained us the refusal at jump 1!! She didn't like those trimmed bushes either... I thought, being a classy lady, she would of appreciated a nicely trimmed bush, but sadly i was wrong! Lol! The joys of a spooky horse! x
