preview_player
Показать описание
In Nepal the Kumari is considered the living embodiment of the Hindu god Taleju, and are worshipped by both Buddhists and Hindu's alike. During our trip I had the opportunity to meet Chanira Bajracharya a former Kumari, who served for 10 years. In this video Chanira gives us an insight into the culture of Kumari's and a look behind their lives and their families.

The closing lines - “I came here to learn, to listen and an open mind to understand” ❤️ Keep spreading love and lessons for others to learn! Thank you 🙏

I love how he is an open minded Muslim. Many Muslims would have thought of it as something horrible and would never want to visit Nepal. But this guy goes everywhere to gain knowledge about everything. MashAllah!!

“I came here to learn, to listen and an open mind to understand” - that is why I watch your videos. I am from a very different religion than yours - I am a Pagan - and what I love about your content is the respect you show toward people from cultures and faiths that are very different from yours. I am always inspired by that and wanted to thank you for brightening my day. Many blessings.

Your channel is such a breath of fresh air. I feel like I'm surrounded by so much negativity and close mindedness in society and it can feel suffocating. But your channel shows me the opposite exists still. I love how wholesome, positive, and open minded you & your family as well as videos are 💜💜💜💜

One of my favorite videos to work on with you Khalid. This trip was so different, eye-opening, and fascinating. Nepal is another world, I swear! I'm happy we got to show another side of this cultural practice than the one portrayed in mainstream media.

Rightly said, in Nepal Hinduism and Buddhism are inter twined including animism or nature prayer, fusion of these three practises has created an unique harmonious religious and cultural lifestyle of nepali, that is why Hinduism practised in India and Nepal is very different.

Really salute to you man. You are such a nice soul. You do follow a different religion but still your curiosity to know other culture and traditions and to present them in such a beautiful way is really appreciable. I feel like you radiate positivity wherever you go. Lots of love from India.

Reason 1036 I follow you. Not only do you bring us your religion and culture, but you show an uncanny openness to other cultures and show the good and otherwise judged side of them. But you also explain why they exist, and how they are changing, and how they are still so relevant. Beautiful.

What an explorer you are Khalid! Please don't stop showing us that Muslims are an open minded and curious people. You're a scientist right? Please keep showing us what it means to be a curious Muslim in the world today. Too many of us are stuck in closed minded communities that can't accommodate the world. You are an educational giant. Please live on. Mashallah
