Elphaba's Different Fiyero Riffs (C♯5 - G♯5)

I made this to showcase the different riffs in 'No Good Deed' from the musical Wicked. Also, can we appreciate the acting? This is an emotive moment on the show, and there's so many emotions to act that go from angry, sad, shame, fear, etc. all in 3 and a half minutes. Bravo to these ladies!

I think the goal of Wicked was just to make Elphaba's songs as impossible to sing as possible lol

Best attempt at 02:18
A solid F5 is enough, it really fits the melody very well, and shows how sad is Elphaba after Fiyero's death.

Almost everybody is getting crazy about the G#5, we know it's very impressive, and I like it too *but* I prefer emotion instead of extra vocals. It isn't always about high notes, guys!

I can't believe it that Danna Paola its in this list. Really, she had 18 year old when act the play. And she is a pop singer, a lot people think "she is a mess" really she is amazing, and she shout up everyone. I want to see in the play again.

For me 2:19 has to be my favourite. It truly sounds like she’s wailing and her pain grows as the notes and ascend, and the scream/voice break at the end gives me chills!

I'm in general not a fan of the non-rhotic ones. It feels like cheating to pronounce it But there's some incredible talent on display here; I'm very thankful for the work you put into these and the singers you expose me to.

I know this isn’t a “who sang it best” video, but Jaqueline Hughes is legendary.

Honestly I prefer the original way rather than going up to F5 at the end. I feel like the C#5 gives the opportunity to give a really good emotional break at the end of the note.

Some of them only sang “fiyer” and not “fiyero”

Im so impressed by Danna Paola. My favorite Elphaba was always Idina and after her just followed by Eden, but, maaan, Danna with 17 yo and giving those performance at the level of the most experienced women really stole my heart. She started with safe notes, but as the numbers of presentations were passing by the year and a half she was playing the role, she was taking more and more risks to reach a really high level. I don't desestimate any of those wonderful women who really pay honor to the role, of course

I enjoyed the "Fiyero" part a lot.
