We put it in a slip which means ailerons towards the wind and opposite rudder

99% of pilots don't learn xwind from sims

just wear VR glasses like meta quest 3. with strong pc and glasses, you will feel everything like you are in the plane. I tried gusting and xwind on 172. very realistic feelings

Wouldn't it better if pilot trainings actually include VR goggles? Like in this modern time, home gaming looks like they give better training feels this. Hey don't come after me. Just saying😅

pretty useless in real world applications. Great for squeezing money out of unsuspecting students though.
