Wow it’s really crowded on a Saturday. We were planning to include Kawagoe on a weekend but after looking at the crowds, we are having 2nd thoughts. That was just the local crowds - imagine if more tourists started to visit the place.
It was nevertheless an interesting overview of your visit. Thank you.

Kawagoe was part of our tour last November. It was the last place that our group visited after we went to Oishi Park and Oshino Hokkai. Kawagoe was a lovely place. My favorite parts were the Starbucks with the Edo-style shop and the Miffy Shop and Bakery.

Really enjoyed our Kawagoe visit. They had non-electric city bikes @$2/30mins that allowed us to cover the whole place efficiently. Got a Bell Tower Cookie next to the tower "interesting" 😊 A very do-able and comfortable day trip from Tokyo not to be missed. Notably, a pleasant absence of caucasian gaigin (like us) 🤣 on the streets on your walk 🧐 Great walk Rion as usual 👍 "Let's be learning together, and let's keep walking" ☝️👑

Alot of local and tourist when i went last month. Took a bus to Hikawa Shrine and slowly walk back from there. Kawagoe is worth a visit, but just once will do.
