It is unfathomable to me how we can give millions... billions of dollars to foreign countries for all manner of things but cannot take care of our seniors, homeless, veterans, and poverty-stricken American children here at home. Unbelievable.

You know if Congress and the senators had to live on disability for just 6 months. They would be screaming for a major adjustment. They rather give it to other countries and illegals instead of the American disabled and retired.

Really, a whopping 2.5% increase!!! There are many Seniors who are just one step away from becoming HOMELESS. Inflation, has skyrocketed way more than 2.5%, on everything. Ridiculous!!!

I am a 64 year young, blind, disabled woman, living on only Social Security disability, I get a total whopping $1044 a month, I get the snap benefit program, or whopping $95 a month, and my renter subsidize. Here’s what’s going to happen. This is happening every year since I became blind and went on disability. They will raise the rates our money every month, but however, with that deduction and the snap benefits, I will lose money. All of us will in our food stamps, our rent will also go up. This happened every freaking year. There is no way out of poverty for those of us who were disabled. I can’t even get a job because nobody wants to hire me because I used to be a cook. I’m deemed a liability. How fair is that.

50$ a month ss increase does not cover property tax increases of 100$ per month, for local, county, and school district. And we have not even started on inflation increases.

50.00 more part B medicare goes up....and my part D new notice states RX will be $95.00 a mo. As opposedto last years 49.00 a mo. How does one on fixed income eat ?

Increase is a joke. The Increase in 2024 was 3.2% or $60. My power bill in June, July, and August went up $300 each month. Inflation numbers for the last 3.5 years are a total lie.
