Most blokes don't have an interest in kids until they're trying or have their own. It's hard to be the first one in the friend group to have a child if the rest aren't at that stage or are interested in having kids. It would be a nice gesture to visit Ethan and meet his child. But they probably don't fully realise that because they aren't a parent themselves. I think if any of them had a child before Ethan it would probably be the same situation.
