100% true. I send the most racist crap I come across to my buddy. Literally the biggest black dude I’ve ever met. He’s a medically retired submariner from the navy. I have sent random crap to him in public and I’ve seen him damn near wheezing laughing so hard.

I always tell my coworkers if we were in the civilian world we would be fired and/or sued for harassment we are HR’s worst nightmare lol

My mom died about 6 years ago. The short about Mother's Day made my day. Thanks.

We met in language school in like 2006 and used to e-mail the memes. Now we can just text em and never show anyone.

Jokes on you I'm a Tasmanian twenty something year old who's never seen more than a .22 rifle

It’s the same for people who are friends with veterans or active duty military members. I send them the most disgustingly funny memes, typically dark humor.

Ive got a nurse group like this, we know full well if anyone else at worl knew what we said and sent each other, HR literally could not look us in the face when issuing disciplinary action.

Weird. Exact same thing with the printing industry. My buddies wife once found his phone unlocked and had a look... She was confronted by a meme of a couple doing the business in cowgirl position while the woman drops a massive deuce 😂
Ole mate just threw everyone else under the bus 😂😂😂

I missed out not being able to join the military, over a weed possession charge when I was 17. Can't worry about it too much as the time has passed but I think about how my life may be different had they looked past that. I was wanting to be an army 19k or 13b. Life is a funny and often sad place but ya gotta laugh or your alternative is crying

I feel like having that one friend who says stuff that would probably get him and everyone around him locked away is just a universal thing

The hardest thing to adjust to went you get out is not saying the dark humor out loud, actually being female no one's ready for it. I finally make friends with trauma nurses very similar joke 😅

Remember, classified Intel is just a hilarious meme

There is considerable overlap in the humour of soldiers, doctors, and undertakers.

How to defeat fear based culture.
1) Identify the normal friends.
2) Banish them from your life.
3) Enjoy memes without fear.

11B here. The only friends I have are the one's that I served with, the one's that I only get to see every 10 years or so because we live far away from each other. I have no friends at all outside of that. I have never hung out with anyone from any civilian job that I have ever had. I can't relate to them and vice-versa
