I absolutely love this gamepad, the only problems I have (and possibly you) with it is that the thumb sticks are a little too stiff and no trigger buttons. Trigger buttons is a MUST!

I have the ios version of this controller. If anybody is on the fence about getting it, don't be. This controller is EXCELLENT. I have been playing Monster Hunter IOS with it as the ultimate test. And, l actually find this controller more comfortable and functional than playing MH on my Vita or 3DS. And yes, it plays flawlessly with San Andreas.

A nice device. Only 2 concerns:
1.) Only 1 pair of shoulder (or "bumper" buttons). If one is playing a game such as Assassin's creed or just about ANY fighting game, one would need TWO pairs of shoulder buttons.
2.) The cost. Yes, it's pretty. Yes, it's handy. But for $60+ as it's priced on most online sources, one would expect that my 1st concern be fulfilled -- that being it having TWO sets of shoulder buttons.

For most "casual" games though, I would expect this device to be great.

No Joke. Totally agree! A mouse and kybd are by FAR the best combo for an FPS. I can strafe circles around a player using a gamepad / console controller normally.. a single headshot from behind them while they're still wondering where the heck I "disappaeard" to. Instant kill.

This is STILL best option for a PORTABLE controller in 2020! Meaning one that you can actually have in your pocket. I don't understand how/why there are so many 'mobile' controllers that aren't mobile and won't fit in a pocket.... if you are going to use an xbox sized controller why dont you just play on your xbox/tv, why do you need a mobile phone? The quality is the best you will find and the ergonomics are decent too. The only other realistic POCKETABLE option is the 8bitdo zero 2, but this controller is far more comfortable and higher quality.

I just noticed that this is the Free version controller.
The controller I have and was referring to was the SteelSeries Stratus. The Stratus also has two extra shoulder buttons (R2/L2) for gaming.

No keyboard and mouse for emulators on my Macbook. Only thing I use it for, and its amazing.

is a very nice gamepad kinda solid but the absence of second sets of trigger buttons is a put off
as i play many games where i tend to map many buttons and also ps2 games. so this is out for me
