The Central Nervous System: The Brain and Spinal Cord

The nervous system is extremely complicated, but we should definitely know the basics, so let's dive in! It is comprised of two main divisions, the central nervous system, and the peripheral nervous system. The first of these is made up of the brain and spinal cord, and since the human brain is literally the most complicated known object in the universe, we will just cover some introductory concepts. I went through some of the comments and couldn't find a mention to this, so I'll make it mine. You're showing the right side of the brain. Broca's and Wernicke's areas were identified on the left side. I am not saying there aren't analogous regions on either side, just referring to the inaccuracy of calling out these areas on the right hemisphere, when they were identified in the left one. Otherwise, a nice lecture on the subject.
