Three B11 Kalimba Tunings

The B11 is a simple kalimba, but that it has two rows of tines. This greatly increases its musical possibilities and its playability. You can see how quickly and accurately I can whip out these tunes!

G is the standard tuning. It has 9 notes of scale on top, plus the low G (1) and D (5) below.

F Tuning: you can tune the low note down to F… then the Low D is tuned up to F, and then you have 10 notes of scale on top.

But I think the coolest B11 tunings are like the Bothian C Tuning… upper and lower tines define two different musical spaces, and you go back and forth.

bothian tuning is sick! I just tuned mine and it's way more inspiring than the stock G major
