For everyone ripping her for saying it's bass heavy, she obviously means actual bass frequencies - not bass guitar. There is a fuck tonne of low end on the guitars, so she is kinda right

The Justice tour was my first concert. They had a giant statue of Lady Justice from the album cover that crumbled apart during this song.

Man, I remember driving with my buddy Jon, in his Firebird, listening to this. Something about the shape of his car and the way his sound system was designed, we would get a weird resonance in our ears(it was awesome!)from this song. Going wherever we were going, with our Skulls Compressing from the sound level!! Man, I miss my brother Jon..he died not long after in a motorcycle accident. Well, remember the good times!!

Blackened is probably my favorite from the album. Metallica have some great instrumentals with To Live Is To Die on this album( technically there are just a few words in there.)

The thing about Metallica for me is they can play just as hard as anyone out there but you understand and you can hear all their instruments very clearly and you can get lost in the music, that what's great its a journey.they are so good that they don't need all the words to get the point across.

There’s a live version to this song that I think is a must watch. It’s their performance in Lisbon, Portugal 2007. The first 1-2 minutes of the video has a ‘scene missing’ screen but keep watching. Their performance is fantastic. They do the entire song for the audience, pitch perfect and all. Great sound reproduction too. Love it!!
