This is Star Wars Battlefront 3 FXAA HIGH vs TAA Anti Aliasing Comparison with maxed out settings on pc. Also this video is 50mbit video so you can see the difference easier. Fxaa high gives you pretty decent textures but some edges are not perfect. On other hand taa gives you a bit blurry textures but has really nice edges. In this video I try to give comparison and it is up to you whether fxaa high or taa is better. In my opinion I like fxaa high because taa is too blury for me, but that is only my opinion ;)

That WILL be the next game I get! Great fps gameplay. It really IS difficult to see the difference, though I thought FXAA looked slightly crisper, which seems to be what you're saying in the description. I came here to figure out what to do with Decent Underground. I've had my first Alienware (X51 R3) for about 2 months now. I don't advertise the specs of my "rig, " but suffice it to say it can pulverize the highest settings known to man. I named it "Indominus Rex."

Since there is hard to spot difference between these two settings... Fxaa is less blury and taa is more blury but the edges of the objects are better. Since youtube lowered quality a little bit it can look pretty same :/ If you can't spot the difference you can still enjoy maxed out graphics of this beautiful game :)

I have Battlefield 1 and Resident Evil 7 Biohazard, two of the latest games to come out and both have TAA which I'm only just now hearing of. I set both games to use only TAA and the anti-aliasing is perfect! No jaggies whatsoever! Perfect picture! Although I do have to bump my native resolution from 1920x1080p to 2560x1440p to achieve a perfect picture, it's a million times better than using MSAA because the performance impact is very minor in comparison. I hope PC games using TAA is like a wave of the future!

You really have to do still screenshots for something like this, youtube videos are encoded or whatever and too blurry compared to straight outta fraps. From what I've experienced, FXAA is just trash, use SweetFX and the SMAA setting if you go that route. It's basically FXAA without blurring the screen, pretty nice. My only TAA game I have is Fallout and it seems pretty awesome. FXAA and SMAA don't do anything about flickering edges and lines while moving, but TAA seems to make things much smoother like normal 4x MSAA does.

TAA is what EA used in the trailers. It really smooths things out, however at the cost of a slight blur. To fix that, you can apply sweetfx sharpening and then.. it looks stunning!
