We are so disconnected from where food comes from, my sister did not want to touch the smoked turkey in order to remove the meat from the bones. Don't ask her touch anything where you can see it's legs. I'm at a loss... I just shake my head in disbelief. We have generations that have no idea where food comes from and they don't want to know.

The answer for me is instead of wasting my time now trying to convince anyone else, is to learn the most that i can in theory and apply it to my everyday life and teach my children what this is and how to respond to it, I guess that if I can continuously learn and teach my children what I know we will be able to help "not to teach" the people around us without them noticing their are learning something from someone else which I believe is the problem
people don't want to be told what to do but they do ask a lot of questions

Below normal temperatures here in Kolkata, India. The cooling is perfectly co-inciding with the onset of the solar minimum. We have had extremely warm winters for the past 5 years. In North India, in Kashmir, the famed Dal lake has started freezing again after many years it seems.

We grow our own crops in a controlled area - with water filtered thru charcoal & limestone, hydroponics - looking at grow lights as an emergency back up and windup wind power to run the home should all things including solar fail - Thanks for keeping us informed and encouraging our research

My new Inuit friends are hunters and although they are letting me know that it is very cold and that snow levels and accumulation are quite good, that they are constantly having to check that the ice is frozen solid over bodies of water before heading out on the sleds to hunt and fish; the waters can't be trusted to be frozen "solid and as thick" as in years past. Also, two of the hunters report that the "Ice Caps" are indeed melting and that Greenland is not as frozen as it once was. I have been asking if the climate is changing; they said that things are definitely changing.

Thanks for a straight and factual account of all of the variables in the data sets . Logic is defined: As the indisputable interrelationship between variables measured which give rise to the most accurate prediction off the weather or for that matter any other phenomena.

IPCC: Please read the 'mission' statement of the IPCC:

"The role of the IPCC is to assess on a comprehensive, objective, open and transparent basis the scientific, technical and socio-economic information relevant to understanding the scientific basis of risk of human-induced climate change, its potential impacts and options for adaptation and mitigation."

That statement clearly defines the IPCC as an ADVOCACY group, NOT a science research group.

2 trillion dollars has gone into the pockets of the wealthy and powerful, to absolutely no effect.

Compare what they say the melting of the Siberian permafrost is going to put off in CO2 with how much permafrost should have melted worldwide in the last 10, 000 years over an "x" degree shift.
They have to be lying out right about their fear monger rates or the effect of Co2.
There are many reasons the "warming fear" doesn't work well, many of which are that it simply doesn't add up.

One interesting thing I would like to add is that sometime recently I saw a paper that was talking about the negative side effects of changing historical climate data, it was from a reputable source... So there is you know one person out there who's wondering how he is supposed to even pretend like what he's doing is real. imagine being that young starry-eyed scientist who realizes that the input data is fake and the output data is wrong but it's your job to sell it otherwise, or you get discredited and can never pay off your school loans...

Isn't it funny that a global cooling period is called a "global warming hiatus" and falling ocean alkalinity is called "ocean acidification"...
And cosmic ray increase causing cloud intensification is called " Huh? What ??? "

JIT rofl.. it was the dream solution that was put in to play back in the 70's in Japan/Toyota..and it finally took hold here in the USA.. real early 80's. It metastasized quickly among all mfg'rs in USA.. Here is what happened in Grocery/Retail. Years ago.. Big Box Grocery stores used to have fairly substantial space in the back to store food both perishable, and non perishables.. then enter the JIT..and like over night..the back rooms were reduced by about 80 to 90% and the space was parsed out to the retail floor. Some of this also is a result that now..there are grocery stores every couple of miles due to population density increases. The back receiving area is like grand central station every single day.
Here the deal..in the back area..of all most every major grocery store is 75% to 80% non food items... like cleaning products, paper goods, personal hygiene. Then there is space for fluids, like water, soda, juice.. then there is a space for items that get restocked about every 24 hours..and that is almost 99% Snacks/Potatochips -TRUE FACT!... A very tiny, tiny space is for those other food consumables.
THERE IS NOT 3 DAYS WORTH OF FOOD IN ANY MAJOR GROCERY STORE - THAT IS A TOTAL BS MYTH!
In a major event as is being predicted, this will disrupt the supply chain almost immediately, and panic will set in.
YOUR LOCAL GROCERY STORE WILL BE CLEANED OUT IN ABOUT 3 HOURS.
None of the big grocery stores that I'm aware of and I've been in that business, have any type of program in place to stop the masses from empty the store out. THE POLICE WILL HAVE HANDS FULL THEY'LL NOT BE STOPPING it..THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH LE TO GO AROUND. ..THAT IS A FACT!.

One person we've spoken to about food coming shortages....a senior citizen...said he just won't eat. Our daughters...in ther late 30, s...told us not to scare or depress them. Others don't disagree but that's as far as it goes. So what else can we do?
