Theoretically correct but everything is at least indirectly correlated to Fed rate: when there’s easy money investors buy up all assets, and when money is tight they sell (and sometimes have to sell due to leverage) assets indiscriminately

I've been staking and lending on Aave since the beginning (I purchased ethlend) i have not ever been slashed, I have never lost a penny. But I have earned roughly 17% fluctuating over time.
The only time I EVER use cefi is an exchange and only as an onramp to bring fiat into the crypto system.

Great video as always. In your conclusion you mention interest rates should have no effect on crypto prices. Why is this so? Lot of money in crypto is borrowed money, people may not want to risk borrowing money at higher interest rates. One of the reasons cryptos pumped so much is because of low interest rates and QE.
