Seriously. Life. Savor. I mean.. Thank you so much. 2009 F150, wheel bearing failure.. Whining grinding the whole enchilada. Last time we replaced the It was A NIGHTMARE Due to the fact it was stuck and we didn't have a puller.. Luckily we found a friend who let us borrow one.. He lived an hour away from us and our vehicle was the one being worked on. Needless to say it was tricky getting to him. Fast forward to now.. And what do ya know?? The left front wheel bearing is going out now...

Outstanding.

Soooo completely fearing the worst.. I came to YouTube university to refresh my memory on how we did this last year.. And guess what! I FOUND YOUR VIDEO AND IT FREAKEN SAVED US SOOOO MUCH

SO I just wanted to say.. Thank you so much.. YOU rock!!!
Please continue to share your knowledge with the world.. It helps so many people. Thank you for your time

You're a hero. I was struggling with a chisel and all sorts of other methods for hours. Quick X cut and it popped right off.

Thanks for this valuable tip! I followed your technique and was able to remove the stuck rear bearing. Your video saved me the hassle (and cash!) of having to bring the trailer to a pro shop. --a friend in Idaho.

Great tip!! I only wish I’d found your channel yesterday. It would have saved me from having to buy a bearing separator.

Great info! Used it on an inner race stuck on a bike rear axle. I used a Dremel and a fibre cut off wheel
Popped right off. Didn't even have to get close 👍

Thank you so much for sharing this knowledge 😊 This has immediately worked, the bearing didn't crack, but I could use the X to chisel the bearing out in a couple of hits

Had my inner wheel bearing race stuck on the seal cover from my dirt bike. I was attempting to cut vertically, didn't think of doing it diagonally. Thanks for helping me out!

Another way to remove the inner bearing ring with risking damaging the hub, is to heat the ring with a propane torch, it will expand and fall off or slide off easily.

Good job Gerard.
I haven't heard of cutting an X before, but heaps of other methods. I'll have to give it a try next time.
Cheers 😁
