Fans were not surprised by Mario having a RPG game. The 90's were the golden age of RPG's, and it was only logical that one of Nintendo's top franchises would get the same treatment during the peak RPG phenomenon.

Still honestly want to know who the new Batgirl is because if it's Barbara Gordon I'm going to be surprised because the only way I see that happening is if her suit is equipped with an built in exosuit. You know given the circumstances of how she became oracle.

Mario RPG 2 and Fez 2 would have been amazing. One game that wasn’t on this list that should have been a sequel was Prey 2. I was so excited for that game when it was first shown, and equally disappointed when it was canned.

I see a few people mentioning Days Gone in the comments. That game was too damn good for that story to just end the way it did. I know the story didn't grab everyone (most of whom seemed to be professional game critics) but if you are one of the people it resonated with, it really got to you. It is not hyperbole to say Deacon's story affected me more than that of Arthur Morgan. I know they said they aren't doing a sequel but I think if all the fans work together maybe there is a way we could make it happen.
