What a fun museum! It is very interesting how they did the special effects so crudely but still so effectively! Special effects have come so far through the years it is just amazing! That was so cool to see the actual props used at that time! Thank you Jordan!

The early special effects are amazing. The museum is worth a vlog.

A shame this wasn't open when I was in Prague in 2000. I wrote and published an article about Zeman way back in 1976, I think the first thing published about him in the US at the time. Then met the granddaughter in/around 2001 or so and developed a much much much longer, detailed article (actually visited with her and Karel's daughter) and wrote the whole thing up with what were, at the time, exceedingly rare, unavailable photos and scenes from the movies themselves....But was going to self-publish all this, only to find it has taken so much time all that rare information, photos etc may all be on-line, all revealed etc. (although, with my background in film and efx etc, and all the research and interviews, I suppose what I've written may be in much more detail than even this museum, which only approximates how most of the efx were done: It's the "simplified" version for the general public.) Now I'm not sure the family would bother with helping me any more....But, the whole world of Karel Zeman is well worth diving into! He was indeed remarkable and one of a kind.

I love sci-fi and fantasy - this vlog was awesome. ..It showed how much effort was taken with these ancient movies. Those special effects were produced by real craftsmen of their day - thank you so much for this vlog, i enjoyed every minute

A trip to the moon was a great movie. This museum was fun to watch. Great view of the river. Hope you got your new pants. All I could think of was the spongebob episode where he keeps saying " I ripped my pants" nothing wrong with thinking childish sometimes....lol. Have a great one🦁

I think I've seen the film you like, with an animated man in the moon ? I've always liked to see pictures of that.
