This story hits me personally because I was a VERY sick kid growing up. To the point where I practically lived in the hospital. So you can imagine how much it impacted school for me at times. Yet even despite that, my Mom always made stay on top of my education as much as possible. And looking back at it, I'm glad she did. I sympathize with Nano, her family are scumbags for allowing Rena to be the way she was. If there's one thing I learned, it's that you should NEVER use being sick or ill as an excuse.

They give all their attention to the sick child and ignore the needs of their healthy children. The parents also feel they have to make it up to the sick child by not disciplining the child and allowing the child to do what they want. The parents in this story created a monster by spoiling Rena rotten.

This is what happens when you choose favoritism over being a disciplinary parent and loving your children equally, Rena was not a weak individual anymore but still her parents chose to indulge her every whims and not make her try hard at anything.

And even if Nano did recommend Rena to a company there was not a fat chance in hell they’d hire her especially with her foul mouth so course she was going to be a failure in society!!

Nano was smart to cut all ties with them.
