i liked TMP and i like how they still work on it as well as expanding it, I used it for years.
It never felt as lonely. But. Where i drive according to the rules, Just doing simulation driving, Meaning i stop for traffic lights, Give way to those who have the right of way. Didn't go over 85 on most highways where the limit was 80, Doing 90 where the limit was 90. Being careful in corners.

A lot of people, Just fly around you, Cut you off, Curse at you for nothing, Push you off the road just because you're not going as fast as so many others. And all that in a (simulation) server. That just ruined it too many times. I even had a moment where i was coming up behind a friend of mine who was sitting at a red light, Right as i pulled up, 3 cars flew around me with 1 of them jumping in between me and the guy in front of me leading to me having to hit the brakes as hard as i could just so i wouldn't slam into them. I gave them 1 short honk, And they proceed to block me, Hold my hostage there, For damn near half an hour. Just because they cut me off and i had the nerve to give 1 short honk. This all played on the simulation servers. Not even the arcade one. And the moderators did absolutely nothing about it, Which honestly made it even worse. I never felt like i had proper protection from those people even though i played exactly how the rules of TMP said i should play.

There for, I just drive alone in single player, And once a week i drive with a friend of mine in Convoy.
But i'm never, NEVER, turning back to TMP.

I think scs should increase the players limit for their convoy servers and make couple official servers from scs and just like tmp but in convoy

Remember, if it weren't for the creation of Truckersmp, SCS would never have thought of creating an official online mode.

I don't know if it was available when this video released but Convoy mode pretty much supports any mod now. This + no trolls + having AI traffic is a huge advantage in my eyes. I still drive on TruckersMP but convoy mode has gotten a lot better since it's initial release and is still the way to go if you wanna play with friends

A decently compiled video showcasing the differences. I too wish people would just respect what both offer, and choose accordingly. The dozens of comments against TMP are primarily from a loud minority. The people who happily play on both do not voice themselves in this way. Having such freedom to choose has never been done before, yet people still feel there can only be one. Just because "Convoy" showed more things in your summary, doesn't mean TMP has less, for example. It'll always be amusing to see the comments of certain people. 😉

To me it depends on what game, and if you want to play with random people or not. IMO, I like TMP better, despite it being wild at times, as well as the trolls. The trolls sometimes even give us moments to look back and have a laugh at. Great video :)

TMP is great if you like online experience and you are by yourself, convoy is more for "friends only" sessions+i like the fact u have AI traffic there so the game doesnt feel empty when noone is around you

just to say I prefer TMP for ETS and convoy for ATS

In one you don't find anybody if you don't do C-D road and when you do find somebody they will instantly try to ram/block you. In another you can actually play with friends and have fun.

I don’t really use MP in general because I’m a bit of an introvert but I like to play TruckersMP every once and a while when I want to have fun getting trolled

I got it simple you don’t want lag and just want to play with friends max 8 is official convoy scs but if you want to play with thousands of players with strict rules but you need a good gaming computer then truckers mp

If you want to mald: play tmp. If you want to have a good time: official mp is the best way.

Official has mods, traffic, tons of lobbies to choose, no speed limit option, easy to understand delivery copy system and NO RULES (just don't be a dick in a public lobby).
Tmp has (almost) no mods, idiot admins, idiot truckers, 110km/h limit (because of those idiots), confusing delivery copy system, almost no traffic (having only trucks as traffic is dumb as fuck, i don't count 2% of admin cars and other small shit) and no way to have fun.

The first time i tried to play on a sim server the FIRST TRUCKER i've encountered was a troll in a place where i saw NO OTHER DRIVERS for 30 MINUTES.

For some people official convoy lags after a bit of time (1-2 hours), but you either need to restart the game or get a better pc. Doesn't come close to massive fps drops on TMP based on the ammount of players in one place like Calais where those idiots go to just to experience pain of waiting for 1 or more hours.

I PREFER TMP, MANY PLAYERS TO INTERACT WITH, CAN PLAY THE PROMOD MAP MOD, AND CHAT WHILE DRIVING. TMP NEEDS TO PUT RULES FOR THE TROLLS.

Also on TMP you get the alternating vehicles to drive chosen by the community :) like ether cars, or the bus. plus patrons get an extra vehicle for TMP so another Pro there for TMP.
