It's not a mixed record.

We have massive poverty, over 50%. Record number of children hungry. Record homelessness. Mortality has gone up and life expectancy gone down for all but the richest. We have record fraud yet record low prosecution of white-collar crime.

All of this against the backdrop of Wall Street indexes at record highs. We are in a new era of plutocracy where income inequality has soared to heights similar to 1930's.

Please stop with the trope about saving us from a depression. QE/corporate bailouts were TRICKLE DOWN economics. Leading up to the banking industry collapse, executives raked in BILLIONS of dollars from fraud, after the system collapsed, they were bailed out to the tune of TRILLIONS. This is not saving America from depression, this is the funneling of wealth and resources to the least vulnerable, most wealthy people in the world. THIS is why we have record poverty. THIS is why mortality has decreased in the wealthiest nation in the world. PLEASE let's use some commonsense.
