Samsung Galaxy S4 (I9505) - How to Install CyanogenMod

This is my video tutorial on how to flash CyanogenMod 10.1 onto the Samsung Galaxy S4 (I9505 Only - Snapdragon Quad Core variant)

CM 10.1 gives you a stock android experience on the Galaxy S4. While features like air view, gestures and dual camera will not work here, the software is almost 90% lighter and thus blazing fast with 0 lag.

Wipe Cache
Advanced - Wipe Dalvik Cache
Advanced - Fix Permissions

Well! I've gotta say I'm quite impressed with cyanogen 10.1 on my sgs4. Considering I moved from a solid apple os on my 15 I was quite new to touchwiz and i was kind of hesitant about it. The CM is blazing fast and a better experience.

I have used Cyanogenmod for years, but with medium-class mobiles, such as Moto Defy and Galaxy S2 which didnt have too many features.
I had real problems with CM @ S2 (Just check Network Unavaiable and you will thousands of people), I really enjoyed CM a long time, but as DesperateJohn says, it's really not worth it with Galaxy S4, you will LOSE a LOT of features.

I would only flash CM10 in my new I9505 if
1 - All the features found in stock can found there
2 - Better utilization of battery.

I agree, I wouldn't stop anyone from doing it, and a person not knowing what they're doing relates to someone bricking their phone (very uncommon these days) but they should warn you that you will lose custom features that were specifically designed for that phone. Not that I have anything against CM, I use it all the time for my older phones, just want to get the point out there that CM was mainly focused on giving outdated phones a chance to upgrade their software to the latest one out there.

Some people think it's better because of its looks, considering the comments in the video, but they hardly know what they're doing until they have finished installing it. I can see you know what your'e doing, but this is just a precaution to first time testers out there.
