What’s up guys! Trading 212 have recently made an account funding update whereby after the 4th January 2021, you will be charged a 0.7% fee for funding your account with a debit or credit card after a £2,000 lifetime limit has been exceeded.

For investors regularly investing into their Trading 212 Invest or ISA account, this could come at quite a sizable cost over the long term if this transaction fee is paid.

However there is a way to not pay the fee by using Open Banking, so in today’s video i’m going to give you guys a step by step Trading 212 tutorial on how you can set up Trading 212 funding without paying fees.

My app (maybe Irish version) is a bit different haven't got the instant bank option maybe this is due to the open banking all being English banks.

Never the less thanks for the advice, will definitely use bank transfer now instead of my visa card to save that 7% ! Be mad not too...

Great vid :) I'm currently using the Auto Invest feature which is using my debit card. If you deposit funds using the methods in the video are you able to use account available funds to put into pies on a daily basis?

How much capital are you comfortable holding in 212? Planning on investing long term and I know we are covered up to a limit if 212 does go under but still interested in your opinion!
