You'd never guess sly is pushing 80, OK meets NJ mob series, action packed and every episode ends on a cliffhanger

This show is going to be a hit on the order and magnitude of The White Lotus by Mike White. Stalone comes to the table in rare form. In every regard. Not only does he deliver big time to his capo but to the audience as well: Stalone's line delivery is crisp, well timed, and believable. The character transformation sure to come regarding Tyson the driver holds great promise as well as palpable suspense. He is a pivotal player for sure. Great show all around. Just needs more of that traditional "cosa nostra" vocabulary.

A note about Tyson's dad, the plumber: The way he is being portrayed as poor and struggling because he is a tradesman, in this case a plumber, with an old, rather ragged van, is no longer the reality. Plumbers can start out making $70, 000 a year. Once they earn their license this figure can easily shoot up to over $100, 000 within the first three to four years. However, I understand at least one reason the show's creators have chosen to depict the father like this. It helps with the story line of a son wanting to do better than his father who is seen as not so successful because he has chosen the path of honest, hard work.

In general, there are so many old/classic cars in this show. I love classics. I own a number of classics. Are they using all of these classics to make a point about "Time?" Or to comfort Stalone's character in some way? Old cars + old guys?
