Did anyone notice that when she talked to the Mayor she said she sees him every morning while she is in line to get her matcha, but then in this conversation Tyler says she gets a latte, not mentioning matcha at all.

It's tragic when you realise that Hyde's are literally slaves to their Masters. In the first Episode it seems Tyler wanted to leave the town, to escape his Master but he wasn't able too.

The more he became Hyde he slowly liked and enjoyed it. I wonder what would have happened if Tyler managed to escape with Wednesday.

Honesly, big surprise for us all that Tyler was the hyde, but when i rewatched it, i realised so many hints we were given, he was the only one who believed Wednesday when nobody else did, he didnt seem to surprised talking about the hyde, then this scene, the teacher knew his name though he doesnt attend Nevermore, he acted weird around her, fearful, shocked. We missed so much of the hints, but i think its because of the confusion with Xavier. My theory is that Xavier also has visions, like his father

Something I found weird about the scene was that he said a very specific order for her when before hand she said that she knew him because she always gets a matcha, so it always bothered me that he said a different order

For those who don’t know, the boy is named Tyler and he is a monster called Hyde, and the redhead lady she is the main monster, the girl with the black hair, which is Wednesday, she did not know that, and Tyler and Wednesday were falling in love, and then she found out that he was Hyde, and that the redhead is the main monster trying to get her. Eventually Tyler gets taken away and season two is coming up now!

okay so I thought that something was weird between them maybe like she was his mother or something but the moment I knew something was off was when he said her order in this scene because previously she said she goes to the weathervane for her ‘daily matcha’ not what he said

Am I the only one who noticed that Tyler and the Hyde both had a forehead furrow in between their eyebrows which was a major hint that Tyler was the Hyde. Even the scene when Tyler submerges himself in the tub full of water and gives a muffled scream goes to show that he is not mentally stable. Throughout the series there were many hints pointing towards Tyler being the monster.

Why do I feel like that conversation wasn't planned, like she wasn't supposed to know his last name, but she just said it on instinct, and he had to save it with being like, "ah, here's your order at the cafe I work at."

Tyler didn’t want to be the Hyde, but Laurel tortured him and made him be it. When Tyler confessed that he was the monster you could see him tearing up like he didn’t want to do this, but since he was a Hyde, he couldn’t help it.

You can tell how good of an actor Hunter is. He literally portrayed the little fear and awkwardness that he had when he met his master.
But it was still so minimal that it went right below our noses.
