Welcome back to another vlog! today I'll be showing you how my school lunch looks like and see what we got to eat for lunch! Follow me along comment down below if u like anything I had for lunch and I will try to answer questions.

everyone is complaining about how these high schoolers “hate the healthy food” haven’t had school lunch.
I love veggies and generally healthy things a lot, but school lunches don’t account for quality, just quantity and efficiency.

Healthy doesn’t have to be nasty.

(Edit): For example, have you ever had sweet corn? delicious right? not when it’s in a school lunch, it tastes like kernels from hell, cardboard even.

Honestly glad that the food at my high school was good. God Bless who had to live with food that was bad to probably expired, some schools really need to check the food.

i live in japan so my schools food is like - Sushi - fish - rice pudding - Glasses of milk or water - seasoned rice etc. its so good and we have to help make the food and we go down stairs to the kitchen to thank them by bowing. everyone is sooo kind! ( simple examples just to give you a picture of what we have to eat so you understand ) :)) just a heads up im not japanese i learned the language!!

I remember back at my old school, most students would just bring packed lunches but some would go out and buy at our canteen. I was one of the students who had packed lunches because my parents didn't give me any money to spend lol. Plus I already had food, so I didn't need to buy-

after watching this i'm so grateful for my indian mom who woke up at 6 everyday to pack lunch for me and my brother though i will say canteen food at my school was always warm and fresh and once a week i ate there

i live in sweden, so in most schools the food is fresh for the most part. In my schools, they always had huge salad tables with lots of different veggies and salads to choose between to have with ur other food. There wasn't any dressings that often tho, maybe some vinaigrettes. There would be bowls of pan fried cauliflower, bean salads, carrots, tomatoes, spinach, couscous salads, sometimes feta cheese or cottage cheese. Besides the salads, there would be things like chicken patties, potatoes, rice, meatballs, swedish beef stew and other stews, fish, soups, and can't forget that they always had vegetarian alternatives for those who didn't eat meat. Not all at once tho, there would always be 1-2 dishes a day that they served, and then its up to the students to take and mix their food however they want.
For drinks we had lemon water, water, carbonated water and milk. You'd take a glass and go fill em up urself from the dispensers. I'd say swedish school food is bussin. Everyone else around me were always fussy with their food and kept complaining when in reality it was fresh and tasted good. Some few foods have been bad tho, but good for the most part. A lot of whole foods, less processed foods. You'd take a plate urself and take food. School lunches are free too, no need to pay.

my school lunch in both primary and higschool were always full meals, like literal meals you would get at dinner time, and of course, it was always bussin, and even if you didnt want that, you could go to the canteen and buy all sorts of stuff like cake, juice, candy, snacks, etc, no soda tho cause it was deemed too unhealthy lol

I'm so glad our schools lunch was actually good. Especially in middle school. We always had a sub or salad option they'd make in front of you like jersey giants, then they had the regular meal but you could always get like a pizza slice, Bosco sticks, or chicken sandwiches. Apparently the highschool lunch was better but I left to be homeschoolled.
I always got the subs and lemme tell ya, best sub I've ever had. Their Mac and cheese and their Chinese food day was my favorite. Any other day I'd be getting the subs.

1:30 is my absolute favorite, that popcorn shrimp dipped into the cheese of the mac n cheese is so damn euphoric

wait do they not serve school in the cafeteria's anymore?! it's only been like two years and they already made a big change in the way people eat at school?! but most of the food looks good, I had a mom who was French born who criticized the food even though she worked as a lunch lady.

thank god my school cooks their own food and its always homestyle

the chef at my school really cares about us <3 and i thank them any time i buy food from them

One time, in my seventh grade class, one kid found an unhatched spider egg in his apple. The chicken nuggets and chicken patty were also weirdly grey, purple, and pink on the inside. The fries were also season-less. Yum.
