They are just way overpriced and as long as people keep buying their products they won't go down!

Festool Kool-aid. Same as regular, but three times the price- and the container is extra. But stackable!

lol I love the "Buy Super Thanks" thing. I would love to pay extra to watch a commercial!

I have an Anker Bluetooth speaker.

I splurged and paid $40 for it on sale.
It's sat in my wish list on Amazon for over a year before I could justify pulling the trigger.

MPOW Bluetooth headsets with the cord connecting the left and the right side... $20.

Ryobi tools.

Obviously, I buy the least expensive product that will do the job that I need it to do.

No judgment here. You do you.

I've just got too many other hobbies.
Motorcycles. Firearms. Knives. Vacations.

I prefer shokz (open move) headphones. Bone conduction headphones allows me to listen for any outside noises (kids, spouse, approaching people or falling items). It also allows me to add foam Ear pro when dealing with loud noises like the tools. Cost is about $80 and codes can be found.

Sometimes what makes you happy in the shop is your most important “tool”. If going out and getting excited about using something makes the build process smoother, it’s a great investment. Happy workshop, better quality work

The old school Milwaukee radios powered by Rockford Fosgate had a badass sound but aren't Bluetooth. I'm not even sure Bluetooth had been invented yet when those radios were on the market

Can you make a video of making something like you used to?

And it is Festool which of course means you get to pay five times too much.

Love Bluetooth speakers. But, they don't protect your eardrums from power tool noise.

Kool-Ade? You just drank enough to become diabetic. I'm a Festool junkie (14 + accessories) but I just can't wrap my head around the TopRock. I wear a Bluetooth headset (IsoTunes) but they're noise isolating. I don't care how good the sound coming from a TopRock is, the planer just ruins the stage presence.

BTW, I was an audio component design engineer. I don't go into my shop to listen to the great masters. Podcasts sound just fine on a $39 monaural Bluetooth speaker.

Is it better that the Milwaukee pack out radio?

I vote if it’s your money, spend it how YOU like! Festool makes some awesome stuff - and before all you haters come at me, so do other brands. I just get so tired of reading comments on all the Festool vids from folks complaining. Sounds a lot like envy to me most of the time…🤔😁
