'My problem with old games is that, they don't tell you what to do'

Freeing the Dragons in front of you at the start of the game LITERALLY gives you tutorial information

1:37 - "Oh, he can fly! I don't remember that." Clearly never actually played Spyro before, have you now Alberto....

"it doesn't tell you what to do"

they were playing the tutorial level, the dragons literally tell you what to press to do what action

“This game takes like no skill...”
That’s exactly what someone who hasn’t played the Tree Top level would say.

"older games don't tell you what to do" yeah, it's called the instruction booklet in the game case. you read that. it tells you the controls. games didn't hold your hand back then. you were basically supposed to test out stuff on your own. games now tell you EVERYTHING, no room for testing.

From someone who grew up with these games and 100% them recently, just, seeing some of the teens being shocked Spyro can glide and breathe fire, also, clearly having no idea what to do yet having the privelage to play the originals and the reignited trilogy? Hurt my soul a lil XD

I like how they complain how the older Spyro game didn’t give directions on the controls of the game yet the newer didn’t do it either...complaint is invalid. Pst..by the way back then there was a booklet that gave directions that was the cover of the case.

The fact they aren't 100 percenting the OG levels is killing me.

The beauty of older games is that they didnt hold your hand the whole game.

"Older games don't tell you what to do."
... Except yeah. This DID tell you what to do. When you save dragons, they tell you how to do things and what buttons to press. But yeah sure lmao whatever I guess

Literally, everything they love about the new version of the game is what made the original what it is. the funny voices, the simplicity yet innovative game and storyline, all of it. it may not have been as sophisticated, but for crying out loud, it was the 90s. it was limited back then.

I love their reactions to the remake but you can just tell none of them even touched the original games before this

Spyro 1 is literally the hand-holdiest game in the trilogy

Older games don’t tell you what to do, if they haven’t noticed the remake game doesn’t either. You have to figure out the controls just like the original.

The problem is not that older games don't tell you what to do. The problem is that people like to have their hands held a little too much nowadays.
Plus we're talking about Spyro...how many instructions do you need?!
