As practical and versatile COB lights are, their softboxes are HUGE! I wanted a big source with a shallow footprint. The FL100 was the answer.

Thanks, this was an informative and helpful review. Next time you compare light intensity, you could stop down the lens to a smaller f-stop until exposure matches up. This is how light is easily measured, in stops just like other stuff in photography. Keep it up, cheers!

have you figured out how to connect this FL100 via bluetooth to adjust remotely?

This looks cool. I don't need any features accept a soft key light. If I want to light 2-4 people for a podcast setup will this work and would I need 2? Thanks

I'm looking to buy one but it says it weighs 3.7kg from every source I can find online. I imagine that is the weight with the ballast, cables, etc. I want to extend it out on a boom arm to top light but there are weight capacity limitations. Do you know approximately how much the light mat and x-frame weighs?

Moi Roger! Could you tell me if the 'blue' led lights cut out when you dial the colour temperature to 3300 kelvin? Mine does not, and the colour temperature at its warmest doesn't reflect 3300 according to my colour meter. Kiitos!

Terve Roger! Brilliant Video. All the information I was looking for. I'm currently deliberating between the FL60/100 and LED panels from Godox (1000Bi II) and Aputure (Amaran P60C). Budget is not a constraint but prefer a compact setup. Any cons to choosing Flex over Fixed LED panels?
