I’ve had the OH5 for well over a month and you’re way underselling them. The way I’d describe them is accurate and detailed. I’m hearing details in music from them that were either overlooked or more difficult to pick up with a lot of other iem’s. They also have a width and depth that’s not easily achieved for most, especially at the price. You’re just not going to get from the OH10 or OH1 the level of refinement you get from the OH5. They’re well worth the price.

They need about 60 hours of burn-in.

I remember jumping into the hobby about a year ago. Started with a Qudelix 5K strapped to a monoprice monolith driving moondrop katos. Then upgrading to Ifi Gryphon and moondrop variations.

Fiio, Radsone, and others have been making portable bluetooth receiver DACs for ages. I have the older Fiio BTR3, and it works great with the 1More Quad driver buds.

I am surprised you didn't compare the IKKO Heimdallr to the FiiO BTR7 or the BTR5. At least to me this comparison makes sense as they are good Blutooth DACs, and in the case of the BTR5 it is the most portable of the three.

I would like to see you compare this combo to something like a BTR05 matched with IE300 or something similarly like these IEM type reviews. I think we need more inclusive/easy to understand reviews of IEMs (as much as I enjoy Crinicle, its too serious sometimes)

I find it to be similar to connect them directly to a phone cause i have to carry this thing in my pocket anyway, i don’t get those Bluetooth DACs. You can get a nice dongle dac instead that uses the same space and size and price to have better components for your audio quality. For iems - get the best you can afford 😊 there’s plenty of amazing Chifi out there today up to 200$

My real introduction into hifi was a similar item. Btr5 with the moondrop aria for a total of about 160

Gamesky have you ever used the qudelix 5k ? Got it for 129 as bout 8 months ago and is best piece of audio equipment I've bought for my iem's but now can get it on Amazon for 109... Ldac apt x literally best app I've ever used know it can still do more stuff than I even know how to do lol but it's just an absolute lil beast of audio equipment. Cannot reccomend it

35mW on single ended n 125mW on pentaconn with 20-40 ranges of oh5 freq.. Not bad.. Its just the normal price. peace!

These iems seem incredibly expensive for such terrible tuning. Could get iems for less then half the price that are 1000 of times better. These have nothing to offer. I'd compare these to fiio iems they may make good dac/amps but the iems are just terrible.
