This is a Motormouth couple car review of the all-new 2025 Infiniti QX80 full-size luxury SUV. The exterior of this body-on-frame SUV is commanding, it has quite an imposing shape to it, it’s bold and confident looking. Infiniti hopes to take a chunk out of Cadillac and Lincoln sales with this new model.
Infiniti has moved to a twin-turbo 3.5L V6 with a 9-speed automatic transmission, gone is the V8. It has an extra 50 horsepower and 102 lb-ft of torque compared to the outgoing V8. It now has 450 horsepower and 515 lb-ft of torque. Standard AWD in Canada. In the US, RWD and AWD options are available. The QX80 can tow up to 8500 pounds.
The 2025 Infiniti QX80 has a new electronic air suspension and dynamic digital suspension technologies. The air suspension can lower the vehicle by nearly 2.8” when parked. While driving, the electronic air suspension lowers by 2.1” to reduce drag and improve efficiency at high speeds.
To give 2025 Infiniti QX80 owners a more luxurious experience, Infiniti is using an available Klipsch Reference Premiere audio system for the first time. It boasts 1,200 watts of power and features 24 speakers that are integrated into the interior. It sounds awesome!
The interior of the 2025 Infiniti QX80 is beautiful with high quality materials being used. Dual 14.3” screens are standard, the touchscreen has Google-built in which is a first for Infiniti. You also get standard wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto
In Canada, MSRP for the 2025 Infiniti QX80 starts at $104,995 CAD, Sensory $113,995 CAD and Autograph $124,995 CAD. In the US add $3,100 USD for AWD on the Pure and Luxe models. Pure $82,450 USD, Luxe $89,550 USD, Sensory AWD $100,645 USD and Autograph AWD $110,595 USD.

Crazy you can make a presentation like this with all the people walking around getting the in way. Making it look easy, well done!

Good to see the booth was busy. Infiniti needs an injection of life and it seems the QX80 is doing its job. The interior is amazing and they’re getting back to innovating. Can’t wait to experience it in person.

You guys are absolute pros! Doing your review and staying focused with that many people is amazing! I’m sure there were lots of breaks in between segments that we can’t tell because of editing, but you all make it so smooth and informative. Awesome job! And awesome ride as well!

I like the recent design language from Nissan/Infiniti. I’m not a large SUV fan but this is a stunning and elegant at the same time.

Display integrated into the dash finally. Nice job Infiniti. No longer aftermarket tablet style stuck on display like most other cars.

FINALLY Inifinity decides to get competative with the rest of the market. If it's reliable (relatively, compared to competition) I think this is gonna be a huge winner.

Infiniti has certainly sprinkled their magic into this quite imposing full size SUV. It definitely has presence. I’m impressed with their much needed design changes… both inside and out. I wish the new Lincoln Navigator would have spent as much effort (money?) onto/into their redesign. Well done Nissan…or rather Infiniti. Thanks for the video.

Nice first look, guys, despite the crowd around you! I will be test-driving the QX80 and the Cadillac Escalade this fall.

Great show from real pros! There was a time when Infinity produced vehicles that jumped off the page, my favorite was the J 30 and Q 45! They were sporty but striking, looks like they are trying to get back in the game!

Great overview guys! Looks like a perfect lottery car! Looking at the Press Kit, like the similar trim levels on the QX60, the sweet spot would appear to be the next to top of the line Sensory, getting most of the top Autograph trim goodies while substituting the second row bench. I'd swap out the 22s for the base Pure model's 20-inchers for a better all-round set up. One of my few nits - just give us traditional exterior door handles, please...none of this pop-out nonsense. I know this looks sleek and all but.... another item for Zack's "answer to the question that no one asked" list! IIRC, Porsche already seems to have (effectively) realized their miss with the 992.1 911 by retaining traditional handles on the new Panamera.

Looks good
Just worried about so many electric gears inside. Is it reliable for a long time life?

I have really come to like this channel. Infiniti needs this in showrooms ASAP.

Will this be Infinity’s last Hail Mary to save the brand from extinction?
