That jaw dropping end of the first episode just kinda stopped my brain cuz all I could do do is feel with my heart. However, now that I think back on that bloody foyer scene, was part of the reason why Ai acted that way with killer-san was to save her kids? Instead of retreating into the home for the phone she she stood there like wall with nothing but smile to defend her kids' lives.
