My wife and I chose this finale for the processional at our wedding at St. Barts in NYC—at the time it was the fifth largest pipe organ in the world. When we told the organist what he’d be playing, his eyes lit up and he thanked us for giving him the opportunity to fully exploit the organ’s potential.

A full orchestra wasn't needed. It is an organ piece after all. That's all I wanted to hear. What a master. He had both hands and feet going at the same time. A truly amazing artist.

I have always loved listening to Saint-Saens Organ Symphony but I always felt that the orchestra was heard far more than needed and that the organ played in it's shadow. Now at last the King of Instruments takes it's rightful place in the spotlight. What an amazing rendition of this work and it's performance... truly quite exceptional! Thank you Jonathan Scott so very much indeed!

Old SS was really in the groove when he composed this piece plus it's a beautiful arrangement and performance. The images of the church windows adds significantly to my enjoy9. Thank you.
