That's the thing anyone who doesn't want to believe the New Testament has to deal with: why would the apostles lie about the resurrection of Christ even when they were tortured and most of them had to die for what they proclaimed. (it only makes sense if Jesus really did rise from the dead and if everything they proclaimed was true)

That reference to Chuck Colson is very telling. I remember the first time I read about it.
12 men had to keep a secret which would have kept them out of trouble and retaining theit current wealth and possibly gaining future power and wealth but they all cracked and not under threat of death or bodily harm.

Great truthful argument. But one thing is wrong, the first Christians' kept the sabbath and not the Sunday before Constantin by law declared that all have to keep *the venerate day of the sun' as the sabbath. Look in church history. God bless. Torben
