Real-time MIDI message recording

MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) is a technical standard that describes a communications protocol, digital interface, and electrical connectors that connect a wide variety of electronic musical instruments, computers, and related audio devices for playing, editing and recording music. In this video, I explained how you can see and record all the messages sent from Yamaha’s arranger Genos.

I used the MixMaster program for this, and the following link describes how it can be installed.

Dear Sir, Thank you so much for sharing your great Midi-Knowledge. One question: The Genos sends a very long string of data to the Midi designer in the video with iPad. Which makes it easy to program the midi designer. But in this Video we see separated midi messages. In midi Designer this is very annoying. Is there a way to combine multiple midi messages in a single/few string(s)?

Zdravo. TYROS 3 koristim već nekoliko godina ali je njena praktičnost relativno loša, kada je u pitanju sviranje narodne muzike, zato planiram, da kupim, ili PSR SX700, ili Pa700, ili E-A7. Želeo bih znati vaše mišljenje o tim klaviaturama, a pogotovo o PSR SX700. Da li je pomoću YEM moguće praviti "custom voices" za PSR SX700, da li je moguće odabrati funkciju mono/legato, da li je pomoću funkcije "scale tuning" moguće praviti intervale i da li je moguće editovati midi zapis u "style creatoru"? Jedna od funkcija, koju PSR SX700 ne podržava, je ručno editovanje CASM u "style creatoru", što nije slučaj kod Pa700 i E-A7. Pa700 i E-A7 su veoma dobar izbor, kada su u pitanju sve ove funkcije ali svakako bih želeo znati vaše mišljenje o PSR SX700. Hvala, pozdrav. :)

i connected the ipad to the sx900 and using the
👉MIDISpy👈 👍 application also monitored the MIDI message but for now I understand and try to understand those midi messages that I see on the ipad screen

Pozdrav. U ovom vašem slučaju, ako bih htio recimo Midi Controllerom pozvati zvuk, koji ste odabrali poslije tempa, koju bih Sysex komandu uzeo sa ovoga popisa. Može li se pomoću MSB, LSB i PC dobiti Sysex komanda?
